"It is during life's most difficult times that we have to rely on others who have the knowledge to help. Whether it's a doctor, a police officer or during the heartbreak of losing a loved one. My husband lost his battle to brain cancer in December of 2015. We had made no burial arrangements at all and I felt so overwhelmed with how I was going to plan it all. I had driven past Bellerive Gardens Cemetery before and thought how very peaceful and beautiful it was. So in the days after my husband's passing, I called Bellerive and Mandi picked up the phone. At such a confusing and overwhelming time she offered me compassion and made such a difficult time bearable. She took the time to drive me around the cemetery grounds and helped me find the most beautiful burial place for my husband. He loved to play golf and is buried just off a putting green there. Even the decision on his marker, when I didn't even know where to begin, she provided me with all the information, with no pressure at all, and answered every question as a good friend would. Grief and loss is not easy, but what peace of mind I have that his burial place is at a such a beautifully well cared grounds where such kindhearted and compassionate people like Mandi oversee. Life after loss is so very difficult, but because of Mandi's kindness, passion and professionalism, her help alone makes that part of the journey so much lighter." - Jo Wannemuehler
