Richard Harris Brooks

Richard Harris Brooks of Chesterfield, Missouri. Age 78, passed away on February 21, 2022 after battling cancer for three years. Richard was a graduate of New York University with a Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering. Richard and his family moved to Chesterfield in 1994 to join Contico as vice president. He then left Contico in 2001 to become President of Argo Products. Richard retired in 2009 to become a world traveler and loving full time grandfather. Richard is survived by his wife Janice Brooks, son and daughter-in-law Scott and Tracy Brooks of Dewitt Michigan, son and daughter-in-law Eric and Kelly Brooks of Rochester, Michigan, Son and daughter-in-law Craig and Amy Brooks of Walnut Creek, California, Step sons Matt Douglas and Sean Douglas of St. Louis, and stepdaughter and son-in-law Erin and Todd Bentrup of St. Louis. He is also survived by Grandchildren Hailey Brooks, Taylor Brooks, Connor Brooks, Charlie Bentrup, Vera Bentrup and Holland Bentrup. Memorial visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Friday, April 8, 2022 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Siteman Cancer Center.
