Yunlong Cui

Yunlong Cui, PhD, age 59, passed away, Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Jiangsu, China, a son of Lianxuan Cui and Xufeng Zhang. Yunlong received his bachelor degree from Nanjing University, and earned his M.S and PhD degree in Physics from Shanghai Nuclear Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He was an Associate Professor with Shanghai Nuclear Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences before he came to USA and later a Research Associate Professor with Physics Department, Fisk University (Nashville, TN). Many of Yunlong’s research breakthroughs were highlighted in his over 37 papers published in various scientific Journals with much citation. In the last decade Yunlong served as a Computer System Analyst/programmer with the United States Postal Service. Yunlong Cui was baptized in Jesus Christ by Randy Dolan at Columbia, Missouri and has become a believer in Jesus Christ before he left this world. On 12.4.2023 Grace said to Yunlong I will see you in paradise, he nodded his head. Yunlong’s favorite Hymn is “Jesus loves me this I know”. 13 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. 14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. 15 According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) Yunlong Cui is the beloved husband of Grace HUFANG Cui; loving father of Yixing Christine Cui; dear son of Lianxuan Cui and Xufeng Zhang; brother of Yunhong Cui and Yunlei Cui; and uncle of Linghui Hu, Yibo Hu, Lingchao Hu, Jianbang Dai, Zhixing Cui and Yide Cui.
