Patricia Manget

Patricia Manget, age 95, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024. Her legacy lives on through her children, Sue Berg (Mark), Kathy Rothman (Rich), Liz Barr (Bob) as well as her cherished grandchildren: Shelby Neuner (Ted), Andrew Berg (Maggie), Daniel Rothman (Remy), Ryan Barr (Carol), Morgan Hall (Jordan) and great-grandchildren Kendall, Graham, Erin, and Hayden. Patsy was born in 1929, an only child who had a wonderful childhood surrounded by many cousins, close friends and extended family in Dallas, Texas. She attended Southern Methodist University, and met the love of her life, Fred, on a blind date shortly after she graduated. Their love and affection to one another throughout their 67 years of marriage was apparent to all who knew them. Patsy was devoted to her family and took great pride in raising three daughters whom she loved and adored all of her life. Patsy and her family moved around the country many times when Fred was transferred during his career. With each move she developed lifelong friendships and immersed herself in her community, church and volunteer activities. Throughout her life she ensured that her family’s lives were filled with laughter, love and many unforgettable moments… many of which involved dancing! In 2016, Patsy and Fred moved to St. Louis to be close to their daughter, Kathy, and her family. Even with her cognitive decline, she immensely enjoyed time spent with her St. Louis family, especially her great-grandchildren Kendall and Graham, and their family dogs. Patsy will always be remembered for her kind and sweet nature, great sense of humor, beautiful smile, lovely blue eyes, and her ever enduring incredible dance moves. She was always there for her family, offering her love and support. Her favorite times were when the whole family could be together. Holidays and family get togethers brought her immense joy, creating cherished memories for her whole family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. We are forever grateful for the staff at Family Partners Home and Solace Hospice, who took care of her with love and kindness the final two years of her life. May her soul find eternal peace and may her memory comfort and inspire those she loved. Services: We will honor her memory on Saturday, October 19th, at the Church of the Resurrection, 1330 Schoettler Rd., Chesterfield, Missouri.
