In Loving Memory of Jacqueline Nellie Tremblay (née Plumey) May 22, 1983 - April 20, 2025 With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Jacqueline Nellie Tremblay on April 20, 2025, at the age of 41 in St. Louis. Born in New York City on May 22, 1983, Jacqueline was a beacon of quiet strength, courage, and immense heart. She graduated from the Convent of the Sacred Heart in 2001, a school that profoundly shaped her values and remained close to her heart throughout her life. Jacqueline earned her Bachelor's degree from New York University in 2005. It was there, in 2001, that she met her best friend and future husband, Colin Tremblay. Their relationship blossomed into a deep and enduring love, marked by a marriage of over 15 years. In 2009, Jacqueline completed her Master of Architecture at The City College of New York. Her studies took her to France and Spain, where she deepened her understanding of design and culture-experiences that enriched her lifelong passion for architecture. She followed in her father's footsteps with pride. Jacqueline was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, and mother. She was deeply close to her mother, Nellie; her father, Raymond; and her brother, Ray. Her life found its deepest meaning in her family. In 2017, she and Colin welcomed their daughter Ava Grace in Atlanta. Motherhood was Jacqueline’s greatest calling. She gave herself fully to Ava, raising her with compassionate strength, unwavering devotion, and limitless love. Jacqueline is survived by her beloved husband, Colin Tremblay; their daughter, Ava Grace; her mother, Nellie Plumey; her father, Raymond Plumey; and her brother, Ray Plumey. We will honor Jacqueline’s life with a memorial gathering on Tuesday, April 29th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Schlafly Tap Room, 2100 Locust St., St. Louis, MO 63103. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30th at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 2618 S. Brentwood Blvd., Brentwood, MO 63144; both in St. Louis. A memorial will also be held this summer in New York City to celebrate Jacqueline’s life among family and friends in her beloved hometown. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jacqueline’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
