Chaeleigh Barrett Concannon-Hayes

Chaeleigh Barrett Concannon-Hayes, 32, passed away on April 17, 2019 at Barnes Jewish Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on April 4, 1987 in Columbia, Missouri to Matthew Concannon and Kathleen (Engelbrecht) Concannon. Chaeleigh was united in marriage to Kevin Hayes on April 22, 2017. She attended Columbia Catholic School, graduated from Rockbridge High School and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri. She worked as a Physical Therapist at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics. Chaeleigh loved being with her family, and thoroughly enjoyed traveling and going on road trips with Kevin. She was a member at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and leaned on her faith and closeness with God. Even through sickness Chaeleigh always thought of other peoples’ well-being before her own. She is survived by husband, Kevin Hayes of Columbia; parents: Matt and Kathy Concannon of Columbia; grandparents: Jerry and Jackie Concannon of St. Louis, Kathleen Engelbrecht of St. Louis; siblings: Meghan Kouba (Ben), Ryan Concannon (Kaylee), Bridget Concannon (Tristan Cramer), all of Columbia, Erin Concannon of St. Louis, nieces and nephews: Michael, Ana, James, Hennelly, Coralie, and Oksana. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Rudi Engelbrecht. A prayer service will be held at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, immediately followed by a visitation at the Church from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes with Msgr. Flanagan officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27th at Bellerive Gardens Cemetery 740 N. Mason Rd. St. Louis, MO 63141. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating blood in honor of Chaeleigh and send a picture of you donating blood to the family as a memorial. The family is making a memorial book and would like to have pictures of everyone who has donated.
